 Anna Åberg is
a PhD student at the Department for the History of Science and
Technology at the Royal Institute of
Technology in Stockholm since September 2007. She will write her
thesis on the role of natural gas in late 20th
century Sweden. Her particular topics of interest are energy history,
mutual dependencies, issues of trust and distrust and the
transnational integration of infrasystems.
She has
a Bachelors degree in history and French. In her Bachelors thesis she
analyzed scientific and media communication surrounding cyborg
technology, with prosthetic arms research as a case study.
She is affiliated to
IP1 where she will be studying transnational
gas deals and negotiations, with focus on risk management,
vulnerability and mutual dependence.
She is fluent in Swedish,
English, French and Russian.
